A few years ago, I realized I was squinting to read small print (yikes!) and was determined to find the coolest reading glasses out there! I was so happy to discover eyebob's eyewear, the creator of the most hip and stylish readers available today. I shared my fab find with all of you and covered them on my blog.
This year, eyebobs collaborated with Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) and Katie Couric to create two custom "Take A Stand" frames. I am thrilled to be participating in eyebobs special charitable collaboration with SU2C and you can too! Between now and December 31st, purchase a pair of readers by providing your magnification and color preference for the "Take A Stand" frames! 20% of the proceeds from the sale of these frames will be donated to SU2C.
You can help raise more funds by taking a selfie with your readers on and share the photo on either Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and let your followers know who you are Standing Up to Cancer for! Tag your post with #standwitheyebobs hashtag and eyebobs will donate an additional $2 to SU2C! Their goal is to raise a minimum of $100,000 in order to accelerate innovative cancer research and create new therapies that save lives.
This stylish "Take A Stand" custom frame is flattering on all face shapes as you can see by the different celebrities wearing them. So join John Slattery, Veronica Webb, Michael Bolton, Katie Couric, Bryant Gumbel and moi and spread the word for a great cause.
This cause is near and dear to my heart since my mother has been fighting pancreatic cancer for the past 2.5 years. I have also been working on my own fundraising efforts for the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and will be participating the the LACC 5K/10K Walk/Run on October 30th.
We are all either directly or indirectly affected by cancer. Let's do what we can to make a difference!
