I moved to LA in 2012 from NY and never looked back...until recently! I have a newfound love for my hometown and decided to spend lots of time there since my daughter Rachel moved to Tribeca in early September. When I shop for clothing now, I look for pieces that can be worn on both coasts. Below are some great fashion trends that will rule my closet in 2022.

1. Faux Leather
From jackets to blazers and pants, all of my faux pieces will be worn on repeat in black, camel, and beige. You can easily dress faux leather up or down depending on your shoes and accessories.

2. Oversized Blazers And Coats
Oversized blazers and jackets are a Y2K trend I love and will continue wearing throughout the year! They are also very versatile and can be worn with jeans, pants, dresses, and skirts.

3. Small Classic Bags
I can’t get enough of these lady-like bags. From basic to bright colors, these are great investment pieces because they never go out of style. I wear them from day to night and am happy that they fit all my essentials.

4. Knee High Boots
I bought these boots from the Who What Wear Collection early this Fall and loved them so much that I bought another pair in black suede. I will be wearing them well into 2022 with mini-skirts for spring and plan to purchase some chunkier ones too! Right now, they are sold out everywhere, so I’ve linked some similar options below!
5. Tights
Tights are also big this year (my faves are from Wolford) and I Iove wearing them with these Clergerie platform knee-high boots paired with a mini dress, another big trend for 2022. The boots and tights are vintage so I linked similar options below.
6. Chunky Jewelry
I recently dusted off my jewelry from the 90’s and found some awesome pieces that look so modern and chic. These days, I seem to be wearing chunkier necklaces, bracelets, and large cocktail rings! I will always be a fan of dainty jewelry and layering too so I still like to mix those in with some more substantial pieces. These pieces are all from Alexis Bittar.
