Flash forward to today... I now wear all clean makeup and use it to enhance my features for that extra glow that helps me to feel more confident. You can see all the products I used in the shop section below.

What NOT TO DO and What TO DO and When Applying Your Makeup for an Ageless Glow

Most foundations are too matte and age the face by showing wrinkles, lines and pores. The trick is to use a silky tinted moisturizer or a light foundation you can layer for coverage. Both will leave the skin with a natural, glowing finish and blur out imperfections.
Don’t place your blush only on the apples of your cheeks. Apply your blush slightly higher up on the cheek bone, blending upwards and outwards for more lifted look.
Don't line your eyes in heavy black liner and keep it out of the waterline. Instead, opt for a bronze or brown pencil and apply underneath the lash line to give the illusion of larger eyes.
Overly clumpy lashes give the appearance of a small, spidery eyes. This combined with the higher potential for flaking and smudging will result in a messy and unpolished look. Use a lengthening mascara and apply it in layers. Remember to go lighter on the bottom lashes. You can even use a lash growth product like this one to help your natural lash growth!
Never outline your lips with dark lip liner...it’s a pet peeve of mine and looks cheap! Find a lip liner one shade darker than your natural lip color, and fill in with lipstick. Finish off by blending all with a gloss for a finished look.
